The first time I used a garden auger was in the Fall. Because I had re-landscaped our front yard, I had to relocate all of our tulip bulbs. I was not looking forward to digging that many 6 inch deep holes, especially in the cold Autumn temperatures. I tried garden augers out and it changed my gardening life! It was so fast, fun, and easy! Plus I got to use a power tool, so it was a win-win.

Garden Augers
Fast forward to this spring, and it was vegetable garden time. I knew I was going to utilize a garden auger for this as well. My 20 foot rows of peppers, tomatoes, onions, and other veggies were all done quickly thanks to the Power Planter augers!
Power Planter augers are proudly hand-welded in the USA and are guaranteed to last. They are perfect for all gardeners. They would make a great gift too!
They have many other sizes as well. You can check them out on their website :)
I used the larger one for things like tomatoes and the smaller one for onion sets and other bulbs. It only took a couple of minutes to dig the whole row!

I’ve been eyeing the power planter. My soil is sometimes hard to dig and I know this tool would help. I enjoy planting annuals, both those that flower and those that don’t. Thank you for sharing this giveaway.
Boy, I wish I had this auger! I just set out about 50 bedding plants along with squash, lots of green beans, lettuce, kale, and soon will be putting my tomato seedlings in the ground. What a great idea. I’ve been using a post hole digger.
My favorite thing to grow is cucumbers. Nothing like a fresh cucumber from the garden.
Hi! That is one snazzy idea! I like to grow tomatoes and beets!
Thanks for the chance to win – I love to grow (and eat) tomatoes.
I love planting herbs. I can also see the augers helping a lot in the flower beds. I agree; using hand tools in the garden just makes it more fun.
Thanks for all the ideas!!
The auger sounds like it would be so handy! I just got the garden ready to plant veggies.
This would be such a time saver!
I plant tomatoes, peppers and many bulbs in the fall.
What a cool idea!
Flowers and vegetables!
Wow, never thought of using my drill to plant bulbs – this would be great for caladiums, I love planting them around my yard, their leaves have such beautiful colors. I’ve broken a couple of small spades with trying to dig small holes. This looks more precise. Totally love this, thank you for introducing the idea.
