This outfit a bit scandalous and to be honest I’ve never actually worn it out – just put it together for an Instagram photo and it’s 100% inspired by Ariana Grande. But I DO love…View Post
I recently bought a pair of leather faux-pearl boots (see here) and soon after I started seeing faux-pearls all over the place. One of my favorite trends ATM are pearls on demin, whether it’s high waisted jeans or a jean jacket there’s something cool about the contrast between beat-up denim and delicate white pearls.
I am excited to say I was gifted this jean jacket from BohAwesome (YAY to one of my first fashion collabs!) and I was genuinely surprised of the quality. It’s a heavy-duty denim and there’s no way these pearls are going anywhere, they’re not just sewed on.
I’ve never had an oversized denim jacket and now I’ve realized they’re great for colder months because layering is so much easier – imagine a gray hoodie or chunky sweater dress underneath (hmmm super comfy!).
Yeah, camo’s back. Or did it ever go away? I have memories as a little girl picking out camo graphic tees covered in glitter writing. I truly believe camouflage is one of those trends that always come in and out of style no matter what year the calendar says.
But this year, it’s allll about puffer jackets. I’ve always hated feeling bulky during the winter months but these coats are JUST too cute to stay away. The key is to look for a cropped fit such as this one and keep your bottoms as slim as possible so you don’t look too much like a marshmallow. 😉
Every time I wear mustard yellow, people hit me with the “Wow, I love that color on you, it goes great with your skin tone!” And of course when someone says that, you just want to go out and buy everything in that color. But in reality, I think my skin tone goes with a lot of hues- not including nudes like brown, tan, cream etc.
Mustard yellow is a great for fall/winter and it’s an easy way to add some color to your outfit. If you don’t want to go full-out for a top or bottom then try some accessories like a scarf or handbag. In warmer month, try mustard yellow with a floral print.
I’m not even going to begin to tell you where my faux fur cheetah coat is from because you won’t find it. It’s literally so old, I’m embarrassed to tell. Let’s just say – I haven’t grown in a while.
But what I love about cheetah is that it’s like camo, it’s always coming in and out of style so don’t throw away those pieces – you never know when you’ll want to use them.
Faux fur jackets are also SUCH a huge trend this winter, which I’m so happy about because I bought so many last year.
I found this cute little red bag over the Summer in the Target clearance section. I knew red was going to be huge and it’s the perfect pop of color. Also, Target has really been stepping up their fashion game. Does anyone else agree??

I didn’t have a post in mind while shooting this outfit (sometimes, I just go out and shoot without a blog post in mind) which can a diaster because then I’m left with all these photos and no content!
But after I started getting compliments on this camel coat from my co-workers and on the streets of NY (which NEVER happens btw) I thought I should feature it and help you guys out! Everyone seems to trying to find the perfect camel coat, whether it’s short or floor length they seem to be a hit this winter.
Boohoo – Kate Belted Shawl Collar Coat
Funny thing is, I’ve had this coat for 2 years (haven’t worn it much until now) and guess what, it was $10 DOLLARS. Yes, cheaper than my lunch.
It’s from Boohoo.com and here is the direct link to the exact one I’m wearing. I should point out, it’s a one size option which freaked me out at first (but again it’s only $10) because I’m under 5 foot and usually an x-small. If you compare, the jacket looks shorter on the model than me in these photos. It fits me oversized, which means if you’re actually a normal height this coat probably won’t be a problem.
It’s also super warm, which is surprising because UM it was 10 freaking dollars??!
Buuut if you are looking to invest more into a camel coat (maybe put it on your Christmas list) or want a different style, I put some of my favorites together here. Camel coats are such a classic piece and I’ve found it goes with almost all my outfits and looks great with blue jeans.

Hey fashion babes – Happy Cyber Monday!
Who else will be sneaking in time during work or class to check out the awesome deals happening online? Or did you do all your shopping on Black Friday?
For the first time in years, I didn’t go shopping on Black Friday. I know, shocker…. but actually I did a lot of shopping in Berlin. I made a fashion + beauty haul on my Youtube channel that you can check out here.
Speaking of great deals, I scored this orange balloon sleeved sweater for $8 at Anthropologie! It’s from the brand ‘Moth.’ I actually thought it was a joke considering the fact that most of their sweater are originally over $100.
What caught my eye was the the orange hue and the oversized balloon style sleeves! It adds some type of cool-laid back look and is SO comfortable.
I paired this outfit with my white booties from Necessary Clothing, which you can find here [get an additional 30% today w/ code CYBER30]. They’re a bit crazy, with the huge studs and pointed toe but I love them and they’re definitely a head-turner on Long Island.
